What does this light mean?

    if i had my owners manual I wouldn't have to ask, but can someone tell me in the mean time what the green gauge like light is that came on. It is now off, only showed up for about a mile (that I noticed).

    That is not cruise control... it is indicating your speed is in the 'green zone'. There is a sensor that matches your cluster to highway speed signs. If it flashes red and blue it senses cops with the built in dash radar. It's only on the special edition.

    If it goes out completely on restarts that could be due to a malfunction after the TSB for your auto trans, or the drum brakes could be failing... possibly poor lumbar support in your seat but most likely a jealous 2nd gen owner is sneaking into your garage at night and fucking with your shit.

    Good luck... I hope this resolves before a catastrophic failure of your non-functional hood scoop kills you and everyone you love.
