I want to make sure I don't got beyond and into top-out but need to figure want anyone has theirs set at. I've adjusted the collars from stock (.86" exposed thread) to 1.5" exposed thread. Center of hub to fender gives me 22.5"

According to fox .86" thread above collar is 2" factory lift. Which theoretically should put my hub-to-fender at 23"

What doesnt make sense to me is the .86" thread is factory set at 2" lift, if my truck was 21" factory suspension, and I've adjusted collars above the .86" (2") lift, how am I only seeing 1.5" of lift. I do have the SSO bumper (no winch) but didnt get and real measurable difference before/after.

Anyone got any Fox specific info here that can help resolve my conundrum. I am on a 32.7" Falken, but that has no bearing on measurements taken here.

-edit. I also know the length of the 2.5 uncompressed is 22.121. eyelet to bottom of tophat (i believe) I just measured and im at 20". Which puts me right in the dead center of the 4.5" of travel.

I was using hub/fender from toytec and thats 21" for the 15 and up, 1" taller than the previous gen.

The issue im having is the 3 sets of measurements arent vibing.

My shock length (uncompressed/comprerssed) is right at 2.131" of difference on a 4.5" travel shock.

Hub to fender is only 22.5 (only up 1.5" from stock 22")

.86" threaded body exposed nets 2" travel from factory. I have 1.5" exposed thread netting a 2.131 travel difference on physical shock, but only 1.5" measured at the hub-to-fender.

You are calling out some very specific numbers. All you have to do is measure center of hub to fender to get the 23". Lift, crank coilovers, drop and measure. I know I was at 3.25" of lift then installed front and mid skids and it sits average 3". My lift will flux between 2.75" - 3.25" from load distribution and outside temperature.

thats the strange thing, im at exactly 50/50 up/down travel on the shock, but .5" below the 2" lift, with 2X the exposed threads than the factory stated 2" lift height. It's all wonky.

    I'll take some measurement tomorrow.

I understand. My numbers are from a gen 2 with fox 2.5, but I don't think they are any different. I have an ARB bumper. 1.375" of exposed thread gives me a hub to fender measurement of 22.75".
