    Can you get some recessed area lights for our campers? The kind that tilt downwards- like the ones on city busses. I'll try to find a pic.

    Looking at getting my girlfriend's dad a Traeger Eastwood pellet grill for Christmas. Anybody know anything about that particular unit or have any recommendations for better setups?

    @Rustbucket
    I have the costco one very similar to the east wood. Thats the home depot one right?
    I love my treager and thats the perfect size for the avg. Person. The bigger one the 34 my coworker has and it goes through pellets faster then mine but the cooking soze is huge. The treagers are awsome, the easiest way to cook and smoke anything. I now cook outside every chance i get. No messing with propane in cold weather, wind,ect. Works every time no matter what condition i have tried. I cooked a turkey for thanksgiving on it, best turkey i have done.

    Never mind all the people who live in clapped out fire traps who insist we suspend the inspection process till there's room available elsewhere for as cheaply as today.

    I am a big fan of my Masterbuilt 30" Electric smoker and additional Cold Smoker Attachment. I can make cheese in the evenings when the temps drop down to below 70F. There are a lot of dishes that can benefit from cold smoking and I find that when meat is smoked when it's still raw, it gets a better deeper smoke flavor.

    Controlled cooking temperature is my thing. I can go low like 112 degrees to make smoked salmon. Or a standard 165F to make all the insides breakdown over 4 hours and finish over charcoal.

    If I really need to, I can go as high as 275F.

    Most charcoal or wood powered smokers that do not have a separate smoker compartment so they give inconsistent temperatures as the charcoal or wood burns down. You do not get as consistent temps. And yea, it is a lot smaller than the Traeger, but it's just right for me. It's large enough to do a prime brisket and a couple of chickens. I can also cook other food in this thing since it's practically an oven thus freeing up my main oven at home.

    I read about them. I was curious how pellets would make every thing taste.

    Have you checked over at Eggs By The Bay? It's over on Shulman Ave in Santa Clara.
