Definetly an accurate rifle. Funny how that works huh? It's true though sometimes the factory pressure points are better left untouched on thinner barrels.

Practice shooting skeet first. You have to lead any flying targets with your shotgun. You lead the target by a few feet (depending on speed of the target and distance from the target, the lead distance may vary). Leading is when you keep your sight a few feet in front of the target. If you aim right on the bird, you'll shoot behind it every time. Some people like to lead the whole time they are viewing the target and some folks like to use the 'swing through' method. It's up to you. Watch this video:

Step 1- put down the rifle.
    Step 2- What he said.

Also shooting over a good decoy spread is much easier than pass shooting. Once you sucker them in you can get a good bead on them

The Model 70 got it done last night for her first double. She put a shot on a really nice mature 5 point freak that I've seen several times this season and named "goofyhead." After shooting her buck, there was a doe staring at her from behind a small mesquite bush. She neck shot it and dropped it like a bag of hammers. 2 deer in 15 seconds. She was fired up!

My six year old is now too big and too strong for his Bear Scout so for Christmas he has graduated to a real compound bow. It's a Diamond Infinity Edge Pro. Set to 15lbs draw weight so he can get used to the mass weight of the bow itself. After about five minutes inspecting it the first thing he said was "I can't wait to go hunting with you Papa."

Very nice. I was looking at that brand today at Bass Pro Shop. I told my wife I'll get her one next year when she's not pregnant.

It was hot and windy so i got down at 830 and noticed a few greens comin up i planted ao i decided to go check my other stand to see if it had any growth (about 400 yards away) about halway there i kicked two deer off the pasture and they were headed towards the stand i was goin to. I thought i might could cut em off and i made up some quick quiet ground over the pasture. I got to the stand and not 2 mins later saw a deer walking right over my tracks. There were only 2 ways for it to go and i was at least gonna be able to see it. I sat there an hour and it never moved. I got down and was easin out in its direction and kicked 2 up that were gone quick. Then 2more took off but stoppe so i dropped one of em

yeah it even has the LBA trigger which is Mossberg's version of accutrigger. its supposed to be adjustable from 2-7 pounds set at 2 from the factory, I haven't measured it but its plenty light but I would say its closer to 3. I usually get a really good group with corelokts but I got some ultrasonic corelokts and they suppose to be like 150 fps faster and they are bonded but they don't group as well or something, my scope got bumped at thanksgiving and when I got it back on I had just under a 2" group where I was 1" before, but could of just been me that day or some wind or something
