I ran my truck for about 2,000 miles before replacing the needle bearing. It was more of a womp womp womp sound in all speeds and went away in 4HI. The noise never got any louder and never changed frequency. The needle bearing looked brand new when I pulled it out of the diff. You will be fine till you get around to it. The guys at East Coast Gear Supply are great people, give them a call if you have ANY questions. They change alot of these for people so they know what they are talking about. I was very impressed.

Mine only makes the sound that I can notice when I'm creeping forward or reverse. Doesn't make a difference if I'm in 4wd or 2wd. Doesn't change if I'm in a turn or going straight. Just a little tick, tick tick. I'll hoist it up this weekend and troubleshoot further.

For those that did the Add a leaf. What did you do with the metal bracket that holds the cable off of the leaf spring? I could not get either side to go back in the way it should so right now its just dangling along the cable and I have wrapped the cable with electrical tape to slow dow the corrosion from rubbing the leaf spring. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Stock height setting for your icons or did you crank them up a bit to clear your tires?

I actually just had this same issue. I called Icon and they said it was normal. I wasn't having it. If you follow the cable up, there's a bracket that I removed and pried open, allowing me to pull the cable to give it a little slack. After that, I was good to go. If you want any pictures, just let me know.

I cranked them up a bit to get rid of some of the rake the truck had at the stock setting. They came with 1.25 thread showing i have them cranked to about 1.75 now to sit more level

Fellow Icon owners...I got my Stage 2 installed a couple of weeks ago and the shop that performed the work didn't exactly do a super-awesome job of trimming one of the shock mounts...see below.

I rolled the dice with the shop I used (I didn't feel comfortable doing it myself and my options in town were limited) so it's on me that they boned it up cosmetically. That's what I get for saving a couple hundred bucks by not taking my business to a higher-end shop farther away.

    Here's the OK side:

    ...and the not-so-OK side:

Bottom line: What are y'all's collective opinions on the best way to trim/patch/fix this?

Yeah....I'm emotionally over it at this point and just am just wondering the best way to fix it. I should have inspected the work closer when I left the shop but I had a kiddo in the hospital at the time and my head wasn't in the game.
