Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

My automatic transmission does nothing when it is shifted to sport shift mode.

So when I go to D and click to go left into manual mode nothing shows up on the dash and the truck continues to make automatic shifts for you.

I guess I'll be bringing it in.... but wanted to know if anyone else had the problem. I never even tested this out until today even though I had the truck for a year now.

When you shift into sport mode, it always goes into S4 by default - that is to say, the truck won't shift past fourth gear unless you do so manually. The truck will still shift 1-4 automatically if it feels there's a need to do so. Are you doing this at city speeds that don't require gears 5 and 6?

City speeds or highway nothing happens. Dash does not show it shifting into sport mode.

Shifting it up and down does nothing either, no indicator no change in revs or gears or anything

Ok, that's a new one then. Dealership it. Hopefully as simple as some sensor/switch tied to the shifter.

To be honest I am happy with the truck but in one year this fucker has been back and forth to dealer for a lot of small bullshit.

Nothing major but dang I have never had to do nothing but oil changes in other cars.
