    I won't be mobile while they are putting the skids on my truck... Not sure how long that will take, but it will be another 2.5 hours home. It is a possibility tho...

    James has them on his truck for pulling his camper and loves them. I have no experience with them but they don't look complicated. So yur doing OME strutts and coils in the front, and only bags in the rear or an aal also? I asked about the preassembly because i have access to a spring compressor but if you get them preassembled it also gives you new top hats and bushings

    Either all OME front and rear or maybe Dakar rear springs with luck I will be able to order them in a few months. Hell if I wait long enough just throw everything in the truck hook the camper up and head down for a long weekend :} It is nice having my own hotel room behind me :}

    the dakars are so heavy you may not need the bags. But, do you want that rough of a ride when your not towing? Maybe a good idea to pm james and see what input he has since he's been doing it

    Yeah I was going to run the numbers by folks here and OME etc . My truck with me and the GF in it full tank of fuel and the standard never come out of the truck stuff weighs in at 5250 lbs. I have the factory AAL tsb installed and it still feels like I almost would hit bump stops if the air bags weren't there.

    hell i just put the 3 leaf progressive aal in mine and can't get it to drop. when i hook up my trailer and heavy assed 4 wlr it never budges. I'm pretty sure james has the stock leaf pack with bags and likes it alot. If you raise the front 2" your probably going to want to raise the rear some also. My only concern is I've heard from many that the dakars are really stiff unloaded. You may want to look at the all-pro springs also they have a standard set and an expedition pack

    Oh and btw remember I picked up that Dake 001 / Atlas arbor press ? I called Dake today for a new plate for the bottom it didn't come with it the damn thing costs more then I paid for the press it self. On the upside the guy was cool and is sending me all the stickers and such that are missing and told me what color it originally was it is now red :{ . Oh and he dates it to pre 1943 that is as far back as his serial number list goes and mine is before then :}
