@OhioTaco68 The hardest part I found with the install was mounting the light bar to the brackets. It requires some patience and a lot of luck to hit the holes on the first try. It goes pretty quick if you have a buddy help with the install.

It took me about two hours for the whole install. The hardest part was breaking loose the nuts on the crash bars.

Just installed mine this morning. Installation went pretty easy. Wiring was also easy plenty of wire on the harness. I ended up trimming up the wire for my ch4X4 switch since i probably could make it all the way to my back seat with the amount of wire. Love the look and the brackets. They are very durable and fit perfectly thanks MojaveMadman for the group buy.

I'm getting ready to figure that out for my premium kits. My wiring guru suggested the tail light fuse. That way it only illuminates when the lights are on and won't be a big safety issue if it blows for whatever reason.

A buddy of mine had his tapped off of one of the dash light fuses that way the new switch would dim with the rest of the lights.

WOW !!! I decided to wait till warmer weather to install my Apex brackets and CaliRaised light bar but the suspense was killing me so i went out to my garage and got my light bar and connected it to a spare battery i use for my boat ... seen the red light come on the switch, i then shut the lights off in garage and hit the button on switch to turn light bar on. Damn this thing is BRIGHT !!!!
Sorry @MojaveMadman i didn't know what to do to try out your brackets but i was in the garage admiring them to .. them suckers are heavy duty to say the least !
Supposed to actually be in the 50's here in central Ohio this Sunday & Monday .. may get a hair up my ass and install them :D

I have an 09 sport, I was installing a usb/aux into my centre console and was looking for power. it has lights on it so I didn't want it wired to constant power. got looking in the fuse panel at some of the empty slots and I found one that only gets power when u turn the key. middle row, second in from the left. I added a add a fuse, been working fine since july.

Im going to do the same when i install mine on my 3rd gen .. use a volt meter and find a open fuse that is only hot when ignition is on then splice a mini fuse tap from switch

@OhioTaco68 in regards to the location of the fuse panel (havent been under dash uet) how far away is it from the button panel on the left of the steering wheel? Just seeing if I have to extend the wire on my switch

I don't have a 3 gen but I would imagine its a common place for a panel. panel should be just under ur button panel. if theres a little door/storage type door (left of steering wheel). it pulls off and panel is behind it.

So I got under the dash this morning and it does not look like I have the same fuse panel as the second generation.

might only have the one under the hood. if the one under the hood as a bunch of little fuses in it, for dome light and interior components, its certainly possible that's the only one but again I really don't know cuz I have a 2 gen haha
