And this is Pearl, a cattle dog. I got her the boots so we could go walking in the desert south of Tucson, AZ.
Have not yet managed to persuade her to wear them all. Another project in progress...Pearls_Boots.jpg

Good luck with that! I used to hunt quail out there. I watched a lot of dogs get knocked out of commission because of that terrain.

Ended up learning how to stalk coveys and call them without a dog.

Great looking dog! What brand of boots are those? I'm trying to find a brand that will stay on a active Lab.

Yeah. Back in September. Was almost 10. Never had a dog that could look as relaxed as her. Your eldest there reminded me of her.

I am sorry to hear that man. It is never easy to loose your best freind. Ya he knows how to relax most of the time. Still has some time to perfect relaxing he is just over 7.

Fostering this big boy this weekend. He was pulled from a bad situation in the Bay Area and is on his way to Moonsong Malamute Rescue up in Boise. Someone brought him up yesterday and we're the last stop for him. Gotta run him a couple hours east on Monday and they'll take him from there. He'll be neutered and fully vetted and put up for adoption at that point.

We're the 3rd home in the last few days for him to stop at and everyone is in love with him. We'd love to keep him, but he's going to be a BIG boy. He's 5 months and already topping 65lbs. My husky seems to like him for the most part but he was an only dog and confined to a yard his life so far, so he's still learning boundaries and personal space with other dogs.

Funny story, wife asked me to get her another puppy for Christmas...told her the 5mo old needed a temporary foster and there's her puppy....he showed up and surprise! lol

There was a 2nd amendment commercial on with hunting and birds...they were entranced by the birds. :hungry:

Sorry for your loss. In the last 4 years we've lost two dogs that were a very big part of the family. It's tough.
