I have 5100's waiting to be installed and I am going to set them at 2.5 inches. Which add a leaf should I go for to level it out? The Toytec 1.5" or the 2.0"? I have searched but it is hard to tell if the pictures most people are posting are with or without the TSB. I do not have the TSB so I am thinking the 2.0" one would work best and leave me just a slight rake. I will be installing them with the factory TRD offroad shocks in the rear. Thanks

Measure the rear, and the front and see how much higher the rear is. Then factor in the front lift. See how much you need to lift the rear to have it level, or a little rake. Most trucks get by with the 1.5" to level. I wouldnt use the OEM shocks with any rear lift though. Get some 5100's for the back too.

check with toytec if that's where you get the aal. from past conversations I had with Darrick @ toytec, the aals are specific to the leaf pack you have. If you had the tsb done, the 2" aal doesn't fit, I believe. If you have the 3 leaf pack, a 2" aal will fit.

They told me that both would work but to go with 1.5 to level it out with the highest setting on the 5100's. I might just go with the 2" ones and keep a little rake. Are there any other disadvantages to running the stock shocks besides a rougher ride?

Well I just sucked it up and ordered the 2 in add a leaf from ToyTec. Thinking about ordering the 5100s for the rear too from wheelers offroad but still on the fence about doing it now or later. I think I'm going to see how it performs without them first as I won't be doing a lot of wheeling.

Your truck looks pretty level like that. I think it will end up looking about like factory as far as the rake goes... Just higher.
