About to pull the trigger on a tonneau cover and I've narrowed it down to these two. Anyone have either of these two tonneaus on their 3rd gen? Love the matte finish on the MX4 and the fact that you can close the tailgate without lifting the tonneau cover up first.

The undercover is considerably cheaper and my local line x offers a lifetime warranty on it. I don't like the look of the fiberglass panels as much though and don't like the fact that you have to lift the last panel of the tonneau to close the tailgate.

Would anyone recommend one over the other?

I have the flex and its great. super light, quick easy install, and the back panel doesn't rest against the cab of the truck, there are prop rods that secure it in full upright position.

yes you should pop the cover before you close the gate, but you don't absolutely have to, it'll just pinch the rear seal a little bit, not even a 1/2".

So far.... not so perfect. But if you look how big the gap is just from where the tailgate meets the bed. What do you expect. Mine is definitely not waterproof but it keeps the heavy out. I'm satisfied. I just see some water in the base of the bed after heavy rain.

MX4 matches the plastics on the truck really well. Doesn't look like the shiny fiberglass on the G2/F1.
