I was in line at the coffee shop. Just got skipped and was about to lose my shit when I got Jimmy's text. Right then a girl I've always had a soft (hard) spot for gave me a big hug. She was in thigh boots. It's gonna be a good day

Fuck today is rough. I got up at 8. Put my snowboarding soft goods on, dropped the boy off at school, got 7 runs in for 1.5 hours, and now I'm hammered and it's not even noon.

    Some really cool shit
Seems I remember folks saying they like Scotch. I do not. Then I pulled out a bottle I had laying around for friends. I've had it for about four years and it's only half consumed. I took a sip. It's not bad, but I'll stick to bourbon, thank you.

That stuff is tasty. I like scotch finished in port barrels, gives it more of a mellow finish. Tullamore Dew makes an irish whiskey that went from bourbon casks to sherry casks and finished in rum casks. If you ever see that one its pretty delicious as well. I think it's called Trilogy IIRC.

I'm partial to the Tully "Phoenix" bottle. It's probably one of the smoothest I've tried, with a great flavor.

That's another great one, easy to drink once you get past the high alky content. Someone just dropped a Port Dundas 18 on my desk, never tried it. I'm pretty sure the distillery doesn't exist anymore.
