Searched some and doesn't seem like many have both.

I have 3.4 with charger. Was thinking of getting a safari snorkel. Wanted to see if this would affect charger and/or performance. I still have stock air box.

I would think drawing cleaner colder air from up top would be beneficial to having the snorkel for blower.

For those who have it, any issues? Performance wise and reliability wise?

    thnx.

Snorkel should give you a little better performance. Probably not too noticeable. I have a snorkel and supercharger. I think the deck plate mod actually gives some noticeable gains.

3.4L v6 w/ supercharger and snorkel since new. Snorkle allows it to breath a little better but not too noticable. Very reliable with this setup. I am back to stock air box after running an aftermarket set up. My check engine light for the maf sensor would stay on because too much air to the fuel air mix ratio. Some have had no problems but going back to stock air box fixed the problem.

Just hook up the snorkek to the body and don't plumb it in to the airbox. You get the look and the same performance as a full install. Then buy a deckplate, leave it in the garage. You'll spend the same, get the same results, and save an afternoon....
