I really like this build, nice work man!

I'm considering F&R ARB lockers 4.88s and 35s but I read that it can put a ton of stress on the CVs when you lock the front. I don't have A-Trac so I'd like to get a front locker but I don't want to be breaking stuff all the time. Any thoughts on that?

I am careful when engaging the front and make sure not to force any line or turn sharp. Anything can be broke though. I think it's a mixture off picking lines, knowing when to back off a bit and good old fashioned luck sometimes on if you break something or not lol I haven't had any issues yet (knock on wood). Carrying a spare is always a good idea regardless. My opinion and I can bet most other TW members would say having the lockers is worth any possible risk though.

Not sure if I shared this one on TW yet but it turned out pretty rad I think.
It was right before the Log Corral Trail in Arizona.

    Sean -

Hope you feel responsible!! I took one of the pics of your amazing rig when I ordered my roof rack and told them to set it up, "like this," they did and I really like it. MaxTrax in the middle, RotoPax on either side and an ARB 2000 Awning. I have the RotoPax just not mounted yet and will get another set of MaxTrax for the pins. I really LOVE the FrontRunner rack and it will be so versatile. Your build is inspirational and glad you have provided such a detailed outline of vendors and such. In back I went with a bedslide and LEER Locker to keep some room to sleep - drawers would have taken too much room. Looking forward

Glad you're back - kinda - my truck is glad, my wallet -- not so much!!

I miss this trail. Ran it in May and then a couple years ago with Tyler and Mike.

I have a 2016 Legacy and it's been great. I'm sure the Outback is just as reliable, comfortable and safe.

Did you go with the 3.6? I couldn't help it after having an STI, Tacoma and v6 Jeep... Couldn't handle the lack of power with the H4
