    Bad ground.
Wire directly to the batt and hold it with your fingers to see if it works

Type of switch? Wired with/without relay?

1st check to make sure your light works by touching the leads straight to the battery. The relay is to protect the switch.

    2nd check your wiring skills/diagram.

    Yep.

Was the harness a prewire deal? Just plug and play?

Or did you wire your own relay. If so... the problem lies there... cross up somewhere.

    Where is it grounded?

It was a plug and play until I cut connecters off to get the wires through the firewall and so I just soldered them back blue-blue white-white and black-black and everything works fine but I get no light from the light bar

Can you hear the relay click when you hit the switch?

Did you try to wire the light straight to the battery power to power - ground to ground?

Possibly a bad relay. Some don't click... tho.
    Or wired wrong.

You can test it. Take a test light to the what should be the output of the relay to the light and see if there is current coming out of the relay.

Right, but it seems OP needs a little more in depth than that, Dude.

Did you check light before installing?
I use a 9v battery to stick wires into before I get to installing part.

I would also check the fuse/fuse holder if it was a plug and play harness. A couple harnesses I have tried that came with my light bars have had loose fuse holders. Those plug and play harnesses are cheap and unreliable. The ones that come with budget lights anyways. Build your own in the future. Or cut out the components such as fuse holder and relay, and put in better ones.

I've seen a few come without the fuse in the fuse holder so check that too.

Update!!!! Light bar works fine.. what I did was took apart the replay and when I hit the little thing that turns the bar on it comes on.. what happening is the black white and blue wire that runs from the relay to the switch must not be working because my switch it lit up

Some relays do no use black as a ground like in wiring buildings, black is hot.
