I like it so far. It made a very noticeable difference in the throw of the shift, MUCH shorter. It does seem a little tough to get it into 1st when I come to stop sometimes. IDK if that has to do with the gearing I'm running though (4.88).

I'd be interested to know what IC size you can fit behind that bumper w/o the winch. I would like to get either a plate or tube bumper at some point down the line; probably w/o a winch thought. Ideally I'd like to be able to keep my current IC set up. Let us know what you come up with.

Down pipe connects the exhaust ride of the turbo to the exhaust and a hot pipe connects the compressor outlet side of the turbo to the IC

Thanks for checking it out

Looks like the rebuild you're doing is coming along pretty nicely!

You're being silly, @aeok18109. It's only 25-ish bucks and a 30 minute job to replace the shifter seat and bushing. The OEM seat even if it's in good shape is very squishy and rubbery. The Marlin Crawler seat is made of much more firm material. For me it was such a difference that I decided not to get a short throw kit at all.

I see where he is coming from. It does suck to pay for it twice with shipping.

That being said, it is a fantastic upgrade.

Marlin shifter seat + mt-90 = New Transmisson

How much of a difference does MT 90 make? I used Mobile1 after I reassembled everything just b/c that's what I had already. I may switch it out if it makes a noticeable difference

I noticed it dropped into gear faster. I believe Toyota synchros love gl4 over gl5.

But I have no idea what oil was in there from the PO.

I believe it was 75-90, I just googled it. Don't remember the brand but the truck actually accelerates in 5th gear now, whole lot easier on the hwy

if its like the second gens, they both spec the same gear oil so in theory you could put it in both.

Nice. Looks like it's cheaper to buy a gallon size of it so I'll just do both at the same time
