Thanks, that blank that they installed on the double cabs in place of the passenger airbag switch has always bugged me. I would have installed it in the Paranoid Fab switch cluster under the radio but it gives me one more excuse to put something else in there.

Replaced the rear sliding window latch and pulled my drivers door lock and cleaned/lubed the cylinder.

 

My cousin has 15x10s he is getting rid of....thinking of going for them? I like 17s and all but I'm tired of the e load ride.

 

Can only run 12.5 wide tires with those. Which means you have to get 33x12.5r15.

10" rim will make that wide as hell. So prepare for lots of hammering. And bye bye gas mileage.

Cheap tires though.

I would clean the mass airflow and throttle body. Air/Fuel ratio can cause a lot of problems, especially throwing misfire codes.

Didn't you just do a head job? I'd start with a leak down test, run one hot and one cold.

Tank was full so I just lifted the bed to get to the fuel pump..

 

He's rocking that mad bed flex, keeps your load of camping gear from spilling on the trail. Suspension flex.... well sometimes it spills your shit haha

 

Oh I figured that's why it was up. When I was doing work on my fuel tank, I took the bed off. Fuck dropping the tank, even empty.

 

I Googled the hell out of "tacoma fuel pump replacement" and all info said to drop the tank.. 11 bolts later and a scissor jack, I had bed up & out of the way with plenty of room to work in.
