Selling my stock 17" TRD Sport wheels and tires.

I'm located in Western Canada so shipping to the US basically kills logic when it comes to a deal for most of you but I need help with pricing.

    6x 5.5 bolt pattern
About 6500 miles (Yes, miles. I converted from KMs) on them.
Basically mint condition, no marks/scratches/scuffs on any of them.

Here are the pics, lemme know what I should sell for in USD. I can do the conversion rate...which sucks.

Also have a stock TRD Sport grill I would throw in for free so my wife stops nagging me about it taking up room in MY garage.

Admin: I couldnt put this in the marketplace as my acccount is less than 30 days old. Apologies.

    Thanks in advance, TacoBros!

It's a tough call. Look around here for similar wheels/tires to set pricing. Decide how long you want to hang onto them. If you set the price low, you can sell faster and with less haggling.

Yeah, pretty much just wanna get rid of them and use the loot to pickup some sliders. I just couldnt see any 17" sport wheels in the forum but tons of the OR sets. Not sure if there is a big (if any) difference in price between the two.

To give you a better idea, I just sold my 2016 OR Wheels with KO2's for $900CAD. Tires had 10K on them and in great shape. I'm sure I could have set the price higher but in all honesty, I have no space to keep these and did not want the hassle of haggling and wanted to sell fast. I had a quick response and sold within 2 days of original post. Also, happy to give a great deal to another TW member.

You in BC? And sold them via this forum? Sorry, I thought majority of members here were 'Merican. Might be worth posting in the marketplace once my account hits 30 days then.

I'm in BC, Yes. If you go into the Buy/Sell section, scroll down, there is a Canadian Buy/Sell section. If all else fails, post to Craigslist.

Yeah, Craigslist is full of those adds. Also, with a reasonable price, you are more likely to sell wheels/tires together

I've bought/sold probably a dozen different sets of wheels and tires on the local CraigsList. Non-rare OEM wheels always sell for $400-$600 CAD regardless of make (Toyota, Mercedes, BMW, Honda - had 'em all), depending purely on their condition. Even brand-new OEM wheels in perfect condition will not go for more than $600 CAD unless you've found yourself a complete idiot of a buyer. (Despite this people still try to ask $1500 for wheels that cost $3000 at the dealer, and a year later they sell them for... $500.)

Four tires will go for roughly the same, depending on specific tire and remaining tread.

For the combo in question, I'd say $800 CAD tops, mostly because those tires are worthless paperweights (had them myself). I sold the same tires, without wheels, for $400 this past autumn, after having them on CL for a couple weeks. Considering how atrocious these tires are, and how many sets of them are for sale on CL, I think that was a good sale.

Yeah I think I'm thinking same ballpark for pricing. I dont really wanna hang on to them for long.

That's a good approach. When I'm selling things, especially on CraigsList, I almost always price them lower than what I think I could get. I'd rather sell an item for $50 less, but do so in a day than in a month, because the time I'll waste dealing with tire kickers and other CraigsList assholes will always be worth way more than that $50 difference. I make a point of letting an item go for cheaper still if the buyer communicated well, was polite, didn't jerk me around and showed up when they said they would - I'm happy to move the item and give a good deal to a decent person.

Agreed. Too many DB's on CL. Kinda wanna wait until I can post in the marketplace though. Would like them to go to a TW member if possible.

I would post them up for $850 and settle for $800. The tires have 10000 km of wear and that's the absolute most I would pay if I were looking.

I sold my stock SR5 alloys with tires for $600 on Craigslist. They had a couple thousand miles on them. Just wanted them gone.
