There wont be any difference. The fender liners will be interchangeable.

Today I checked the front differential fluid because it was about time, and it has been leaking since I obtained the truck. Wasn't much lower than it should have been, so I added some. Also discovered I have a crack in the windshield washer fluid tank, but just by the top of the neck so it never holds enough fluid to be at the "full" mark. Whatever.

Also finished "restoring" the front skid plate on the top side of the plate, having done the same process on the bottom already. Lots of grinding, chipping, wire brushing rust away, Rust Mort for eliminating and converting rust before a little sanding, self-etching primer and truck bed liner to top it off.

Starting the chiseling/grinding/brushing away rust and chipping factory coating:
    SkidPlate2.jpg

After a coat or two of rust eliminator/sealer:
    SkidPlate3.jpg

After 4 coats of Rustmort + 24 hours time to dry:
    SkidPlate4.jpg

After a little light sanding and 2 coats of primer:
    SkidPlate6.jpg

After 2 coats of truck bed lining (still drying):
    SkidPlate7.jpg

A little touch-up truck bed lining on the underside. I see now that I missed some spots!

Oh I see. So they aren't exactly interchangeable.

    There is.

6 luggers fenders have a 1.5" or so "flare" or bulge compared to 5 luggers.

All Toyotas seem to have windshield washer reseviors w/ cracks in the neck. You should check out what @cynicalrider did to alleviate the problem. Go back to Post #112270 to check it out. @Sonam

I see. What about the under side? Are the tabs for the liner in different places too.

Shouldn't have to campaign for any votes on any of those topics imo..either your it and people know it. Or your not.

    A whole lot
My 03 Prerunner was a 6 lug, it was a 2.7 regular cab without the TRD package.
Maybe fenders from that model would work for you then, it didn't have fender flares.

I'd have gone with another prerunner or a 4wd if I could afford one, but I found this 5 lugger with 95k original miles and 1 owner, it's just got a bunch of dents and dings on it, got it for a steal though, why not.

I gotta say, I kind of agree with BAT. Monte does have a way of making the rest of us little people feel like turds. I've noticed for some time.

Its great that we have someone here that is very knowledgeable, but sometimes it rubs the wrong way.

I know, it gets old answering the same questions over an over, but maybe use a bit more tact. Or not.

If I was easily offended, I wouldn't stay here.

I'm only stating my opinion and it means nothing.

    Really? Since when?

I don't recall talking smack about you ever.

Granted, I don't particularly like the builds that guys just pay for like you. But I've never come down on you.

But if you really care so much about a bunch of people on a forum voting for your paid for built truck to campaign for it. That's just sad man.

Have fun with it though. I can only hope you'll utilize the truck as your fabricator envisioned for you. Not likely though.

    Cheers and merry Christmas.

Nah, you're good. I know I've gotten a bit short with things lately. Haha

But sometimes when your answers are on a constant loop, the loop tends to get shorter and shorter.

I don't mean to offend anyone so sorry if I do. I do like helping people and am constantly helping folks via pm, text, youtube, and instagram. The people who pm me I take a lot of time to give as much helpful info as possible because they have take the time to ask me directly.

In here. I tend to be short.

I'll try and watch it more. :hattip:
