Installed Firestone ride rite airbags and Daystar cradles last night. From the time I backed into the garage, took before ground to fender meas., removed tires, unpackaged, read directions, made sure all parts were there, test fitted with AAL, installed, ran plumbing, aired up, checked fore leaks, reinstalled tires and pulled out of garage took approx 3 hours, but I have OCD so I'm sure one could do it faster. I'll post up some pics after Christmas, but so far on my 12 mile drive to work I am impressed. I just purchased a Tepui Kukenam Sky Ruggedized RTT (200#), Relentless 8" tall bed bars (50#), and I have a truck vault like drawer that weighs in at 150#, these are on my truck daily. I have 5100s with my 1.5" AAL, and My rear end sagged about a 1/2"-3/4" with all the above mounted. After install, I am running 20# in the pass side and 30# in the drivers side. My ground to fender measurement is 39 3/4" on both sides, with just a slight rake. Prior to the bags I was at 38 1/2" on the pass side and 38" on the drivers side. The drive is night and day different. I used to feel the slightest bump, now it seems to just absorb them at will. Less body roll, just overall way better ride quality. I did my research and just figured air bags were best suited for my application, especially with the cradles. Install is pretty straight forward with good instructions. If you change your oil, you can install these. There are however 4 (per side) pesky little fuckin bolts that prove a little difficult to get to, but manageable. I am very very pleased with the ride and the overall construction and quality of the bag and parts. I am headed to Austin for the holidays and it's about a 185 mile one way trip from Dallas, so I'll post up a better run down on performance when I get back home. I may have to readjust for that "sweet spot". So far, I would highly recommend these if you have constant heavy loads (such as RTTs or racks with gear) or even just a trip to Home Depot for lumber or mulch. I would very much recommend getting the Daystar cradles as they allow you to offroad without the bags being permenantly attached at both the top and bottom, allowing for more flex without ripping the bag. If you are on the fence about these, do it. Just my opinion.

    A Christmas gift to me...

Two things I don't like to see are mufflers and frames. The muffler on my Tacoma is nice and hidden. The frame, not so much. So to fix my frame issue I got Body Armor steps. Since my youngest got us up at 5:30 I decided to put them on.... What a PITA. Need fingers the size of a 5 year old and socket sets I do not have but they are on and look GOOD!

Had to buy another New bilstien 5160 on the passenger rear after 5,000 miles. I had a really bouncy ride recently after hauling and unloading a bike. It was unbearable if you were sitting on the passengerside. Started to ride like a lowered Honda Civic on some shitty suspension. After checking the suspension I removed the rear right shock cause I notice that if I rocked the vehicle back and forth the passengerside was more stiff. The shock would not compress with my full weight on it due to the rod being bent and probably caused some internal damage inside. Rides much smoother now.
