    We're in the same boat. No Grandkids this year so it's my wife and I as well as my adult son. A pretty low key Christmas compared to those of the past. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and enjoy time with your family and friends.

    Christmas was great with the little one. I am just so grateful she is here to celebrate it after that horrible day! Now, it's off to bed for me while the folks go to the Christmas service. Merry Christmas again, and I really appreciate you guys and lady!

    Thank you and yes. I feel human. I'm so hungry. I choked down dinner last night not feeling like eating but knew I should.
    Going to stop by Ft. Sam National Cemetery and see dad. They put wreaths out last weekend.

    Why MQQSE ,

    What would give you the impression I was talking to you... I didn't say the persons name , age location or the fact he isn't a MOD or he has a funny screen name now did I :}

    As for how she tolerates me well lol I am not sure she is aware I am here a good bit of the time so that works in my favor lol Nurse schedules are screwy and very long !! shifts so ..:}

    Merry Christmas! Dogs let me sleep in today got almost 9 hours sleep, don't know when the last time that happened. Must be Christmas. Had one present wrapped up and the youngest dog played with the wrapping paper for half an hour. Brings back a lot memories.

    Read the weekend newspaper for a little bit this morning finally. Stopped when I got to the large article about classes being offered for drivers 55 and older to become an improved driver.

    Last Sunday at this time it was -21. Today it is 30 and raining ice everywhere my driveway is a solid sheet of ice. Supposed to get up to 40 today :eek: and rain going all day. Until it turns to sleet and more ice around noon. I'm not going anywhere. For awhile!

    I will watch a Christmas Story later today, one of my favorite. Didn't get the Bills Fish game here and quit Sunday ticket a couple of years ago had it since it first came out. Read that it was a good game though. Well except for the Bills loosing, not like they were fighting for a wildcard spot or anything...

    Hey I just spent a couple hundred dollars on a fake fireplace to sit near the TV LOL.

    I've been smoking cigars for more than half my life. This morning put some amaretto in my coffee and thinking another would taste good. I stopped smoking cigars for 6 weeks right before my sciatic nerve crapped in the big bed a few months ago. I really should stop looking for excuses and stop smoking them.

    I don't have a 4 banger so can't directly answer. But have always had toppers on my trucks for numerous reasons. The extra weight in the back on a truck has always been nothing but good especially for traction. Not sure about your rack but I know anytime I have put a basket rack on top of the topper I have lost 2-3 mpg and can feel the effect on the highway. And the higher clearance is a PITA in the woods with trees plus in town with a parking ramp. I would certainly do the topper though!
