Idaho BS thread in the PNW

I was out earlier today in my dodge 1500 with 5.7v8 running mostly in 2wd on deep dark backroads that see very little traffic. It was nice, but there were definitely areas that I needed 4wd.
Went to sister's house tonight, and wifey drove in the 4runner. I drove back home to take care of animals and the damn traction control keeps me from kicking the back end around. We've gotten about 2 inches (I think about 5cm) fresh snow today.

 

I've heard there's 7inches fresh in Caldwell, 8 in Ontario. The highway off 84 to my work is rarely plowed to it'll be a fun drive home.

 

Just teasing Zach. I'm sure snow blowers are great for people who live somwhere it snows harder / longer and for people with more land.

Just not something we need right now. I'm sure in the future we will add it to our toy collection. Although I think a riding mower would be at the top of that list. Haha.

My sister in law lives on a small piece of property in suburban Spokane and has a small snow blower. She uses it for her driveway.
I do happen to have a bit more land, and just spent about the past hour blowing out pathways again for dogs, goats, and horses, then clearing enough of the driveway for when the guy comes out to plow the rest.
The whole riding lawn mower thing can give a new meaning to drunk driving.

 

Downtown Boise is such a mess haha, all the neighborhood streets have 4 to 6", so much fun to drive through

I had a white 2nd gen pass me on I-86 today. Had 1M plates and had plate bumpers and a few other goodies. No idea who it was or if they are even on here.

Side note. I damn near got my truck stuck trying to get into my driveway when we got home today... I was dragging bottom the whole way in... It took a shit ton of shoveling to make a path so the cars can get out. It's over my poor little dog's back He has been having a hell of a time getting around in the yard.
