Yeah I buy parts whenever I can manage to afford them. I just happen to get my sliders around Christmas.

Agreed I got the flowmaster super and it sounds really great coming from a 5vz. A lot of people were surprised by the way she sounds. But don't you mean I6? 2jz sound so good. Maybe someday there might be swap.

The 2J sounds okay, usually it's the turbo (which acts as a magnificent muffler) that makes it sound good. The 2J is cool but I don't think it's the holy grail of Toyota engines and straight piped it just sounds like a leaf blower. Inline 3 cyl engines sound pretty unique and interesting though.

Put this guy in with some redline mt90, what a difference!!

Hey regarding the muffler talk. I've got a BAmuffler and it's pretty awesome. I highly recommend. I know I got performance increase and it sounds sweet, besides the fact he can make it sound however you want with the same performance increase.

    Merry Xmas!

Received a Hell Bent Steel 2" Leveling Kit for my 04 Tacoma and just finished installing it. Was a pain in the ass but well worth it!

Not sure. I first have to see if any local TW guys are willing to put 'em on for some beer or some equivalent payment. Otherwise, I will start looking around for shops. I don't know of any offroad type places around here.

This bother is actually part of why I delayed getting them...I either have to rely on someone else or I have to pay somewhere...

Time to buy your own welder. Opens up a world of possibilities.

I don't really have money for one. I don't even know the differences between the types. And I have zero experience welding. I certainly wouldn't want to have my first weld on something that requires good welds.

A $400 lincoln 140 will do pretty much everything youd want truck wise. As far as using a "squirt gun" goes just watching a few tutorials on youtube will get you headed in the right direction.

Check craigslist aswell. Your sure to find some cheap ones.

So MIG is the way to go then? That's what I recalled reading, but I wasn't sure. $400 isn't a small amount of money for me. That's the kind of cost I have to save up for, and I am already starting at saving for my lift. Really not looking forward to buying that, but it is much needed and will be well worth it.

CL is great, but the thing is that I know absolutely nothing about welders, so I wouldn't know what to look for in one. I could be looking at a POS and not know it.

I use YT and instructional articles articles for pretty much everything I do on my truck. I'd be lost without them lol
