    Step 1:
Remove the plastic Trim piece under the headlights. You can do this by carefully prying out the side closest to the grill, then carefully wiggle the far side towards the center of the truck. and it will Pop off.

Step 2: If you look at the back side of the trim piece you will see a grid type section' I use a dremel tool to cut these out flush, To make Room for the led's.Fig 1&2

    fig 1020.jpg

    Fig:2022.jpg

Step:3 I drew a line right over where the pieces I cut out were and directly in the center of each piece. see fig :3

Fig 3:027.jpg Drill a tiny pilot hole where as seen in fig :3

Step:4 carefully drill the pilot holes
then drill the correct size to accept the led threaded shank: NOTE:
DRILL FROM THE FINISHED SIDE OF TRIM PLATE:

Step :4 Trim each led light wire leaving about 4" , Insert all led's and tighten the supplied Nuts on the unfinished side of trim plate. as seen in Fig: 4.&5

    Fig:4

    Fig: 5035.jpg

Step: 6 carefully strip the black outer insulation about 2" be careful the red and black wires under this insulation are extremely thin. see fig:6

    FIG: 6036.jpg

Step: 7 very very carefully strip about 1/2" of each red and each black led wire. also refer to step FIG 6:

Step :8 take two pieces of wire . like 14 ga supple insulation is easier to work with. Cut approximately 3ft of each one will be + POS the other will be - Neg.

Step:9 strip the end of the wire and I soldered the pos + to all the red wires coning from the leds, then do the same with the other wire solder all the - neg from the led's See Fig 7

    fig: 7 038.jpg

    FIG: 7: B 040.jpg

Step :9 After all wires are soldered or taped , I wire tied each one for strength. as seen in FIG:7B

Then simply bench test, By connecting the + pos wire to 12 V pos supply and the - Neg wire to the neg Ground , All your leds should light. as seen in Fig: 8

    FIG: 8045.jpg

    FIG 8:B044.jpg

Step 10: carefully reinstall the Plastic trim on your vehicle.. I connected my power source to my fogs , I may run a seperate switch in the future. I simply removed the fog bulb undid the clips and connected POS+ to Pos fog then Neg from new drl to Neg fog. See Fig :9

Fig: 9070.jpg , then snake wires back down install fog bulb back in socket and install socket back in fog, Or run to a separate switch. If you do run to a separate switch make sure you add a fuse in -line.

Step 11: time to secure all wires and light them up ..... see pix below

Tail lights and interior lights so far but I'm looking to go LEDs all the way around. I like the hood light strip and I'm considering it.
Can't find those LEDs. I may not be looking in the right place.
