Possible to display spare tire pressure?

Could someone tell me if the multi-information display can show the spare tire's pressure? This is for a 2017 TRD OR with "Premium & Technology Package with JBL audio, A/T" should that make a difference.

From reading several threads here, it seems that installing a tire pressure sensor in my spare and registering the new transmitter ID with the tire pressure warning ECU results in a warning if the spare's pressure is not within some range. But it's not clear to me if I'll be able to see the actual pressure of the spare as I currently do for each of the other four tires.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. Could you tell me how you confirmed it can't?

I purchase a full size spare and asked the dealer tech wwriterabout installing a 5th TPMS when I went for the 5K service. He checked and told me the part needed to be ordered- great, no problem. When I went back to have it installed. A different tech checked and told me no provision for the 5th TPMS on the 3rd gen.
I am waiting for someone to create a hack since I want that 5th tire on the grid.
    Anybody?

I was thinking about getting a matching rim for my spare with a TPMS so I could rotate my spare in. so I have a spare with the same wear that could stay on the truck if the other was not fixable. this would work right?????

that was also my plan. 5 tire rotation would need to done at the dealer and reprogram TPMS display every time- no thanks. Dealer also gave me a line about 5 tire rotation not being optimal for 4x4's. I sometimes go on long road trips and will not be without a full size spare. I am nothing if not patient, and I figure one on the brilliant TW members will figure something out in the future.
Life is too complicated, but I prefer it to the other option available

crap... I thought maybe by hitting the TPMS button under the dash would do the trick.. I guess now that I think about it would prob. confuse the truck if there was 5 programed to it.. I mite just have to find a used tire for sale that is the same size as I'm going to run.. buying a matching spare tire seems a waste of money if I cant get any use out of it..

I'm trying to wrap my head around 5 tire rotations being bad for a 4x4.

yeah sounded like crap to me too and I was not going to waste my time since it is my truck and I will do with it as I please. I guess someone might post pro or con on that topic, and it will be similar to the thread about warming up or not warming up on cold days- I really do like TW, my wife, not so much.
Cannot do much yet because of max 4 TPMS sensors on the grid, but if I am 200 miles away from home and get a major tire issue, at least I can make it home on 4 full size tires.

There is no room on the tire pressure display for a 5th wheel. Not in the software.

I have a 5 tire rotation with TPMS on all & my tech took all TPMS data from each and swaps out the correct TPMS from registering on my dash. So it does not track 5 just the 4 on the pavement!

I dropped the spare and took it for a ride to confirm the correct tires where reading and they where.

My $.02. The basic thought on 5 tire rotation being bad I believe came from the belief that a radial cord tire will take a set based on the direction of rotation of the tire, as opposed to the old bias belt tires, and that reversing the direction of rotation of the tire will weaken the cord over time.
Old Wives' tale? Who can say, but I've usually seen that a lot of newer vehicles will recommend a 4 tire rotation, just back to front on the same side. Also, a lot of new cars come with tiny spares, so a 4 wheel rotation was the only way to do it.

Yes but I don't plan on having the dealer rotate my tires after the initial free period. I know someone is going to figure out a workaround for this issue eventually.

Are there any vehicles that shows the spare's tire pressure (factory)?

some 2nd's gen could read 5 tires, correct? seems like a good feature for a utility vehicle, since TPMS is the law- cannot get around having them on new vehicles.
