The regular cab doors are larger than any other door used for Tacoma cabs. They won't work on any other truck.

That's part of what led to its ultimate demise.

I've seen lots of Regular cabs in SR5 trim, factory or not.

Do you know if 2nd gen regular cabs ever came with intermittent wipers?

    No. Don't have one.

But their doors are larger than AC and DCs and the door panels aren't interchangeable with them either.

some did I think. It's an easy thing to install if it doesn't already have it

Does Toyota still make doors for the 2nd gen regular cabs? Back in 2013, I almost got nailed right in the driver's door by an inattentive driver in a late 1990s Ford Escort. This was in parking lot of Bucks County Community College and he almost backed right into me. Luckily I saw him and laid on the horn. If something like this happens and I can't stop it, will I be able to get a new door? I've heard of vehicles being totaled because parts were too hard to find.

I live in SE.Wi, I got 10yrs out of the first frame which was of the "bad" frames, if I get 10yrs out of the new frame I'll be good with that.
Now the best bet I can say is above coating the frame is to make sure you wash your underside often in the winter.

My son was diagnosed with autism before his second birthday. He has been receiving occupational, speech and other therapies for 5 1/2 years now. Progress is slow but he is improving. He is finally starting to talk. My son is very smart but does not socialize. My wife and I took him out of public school and enrolled him in all day ABA therapy. Hopefully my son can live a normal life and not need adult supervision the rest of his life.

Unfortunately, Tacoma mod money is now therapy money.

Thought it was 2012, I dunno.

Edit, looked it up, dropped for the 2015 year, so 2014 last year.

I could probably find one of these for what my 2010 is worth. If I find an SR5 regular cab prerunner, should I sell my 2010 and buy it?

I did not even know that 2nd gen access cabs were available without power windows and locks. All the 2nd gen access cabs I've seen, even the base models that lack intermittent wipers, have had power windows and locks. This one is a 2005 model, nicely equipped with automatic and A/C.

One think I've also noticed about 2005-2008 access cab models compared to 2009-newer models is that they have speakers in the rear doors. I know this guy Justin who has a white 2005 access cab 2WD SR5 with 2.7L and automatic. The stereo is completely stock and he wants to put an aftermarket head unit with USB/AUX, Bluetooth, etc. However, he said that the factory speakers in his truck are decent. I have seen some higher-end 2009-newer access cabs that have subwoofers in the back from the factory, but from what I've been able to tell they did not have speakers in the rear doors. I did not realize that the older 2nd gens have speakers in the back, and now I know why Justin says his factory system sounds so good.

This is the truck I kinda wish I had. It is pretty much identical to my truck, except it is Barcelona red (the color I originally wanted) and it has a larger cab. If my truck were to get totaled, this is what I would probably buy with the insurance money. The mileage is low for a 2005, and it has all I need in a truck. Being a 2005, it lacks the stereo with an AUX input, but everyone knows that when it comes to 2nd gen Tacos, factory systems suck and aftermarket stereos are very easy to install. I would just take the stereo, backup camera parts, and rims off of my 2010 and put them on this beauty. I still have the factory wheels and original head unit, but not the speakers. My only worries about buying a pre-2009 Taco would be the lack of the following: Limited-slip rear diff, traction control, and side airbags. Other than that I think this is a great buy...

i have an 09 prerunner without rear speakers.. something im definitely going to have to change in the future. Ive always wondered the differences between the access cabs throughout the ten years they were made. Seems like many of them vary as far as the back seat goes.
