Bought a set of those a while back. You will enjoy using them. You'll wonder how you got along without 'em. Handy!

My GPS makes me laugh. Tells me welcome to Tennessee and welcome to Georgia while trying to get out of the woods. Didn't realize how close I was.

Been shopping for a new DD and it's been so frustrating, depressing & aggravating. I don't want a new car or a car payment but I probably need one.

Car lot in Mt Washington has a VERY cool '08 FJ Land Cruiser! Not exactly a good DD, but what the hell.....It's a Land Cruiser!

Dude, it sucks. Hang in there. CL is the way to go if you want a deal. Be patient, and extend your search radius.

Høly Héll! My fuel mileage has taken a dive. :ballchain:

I suppose with the added weight of the topper, the roof rack, the lift, and now the larger tires, it was expected. I didn't expect it to plummet so far though
. Previously I was getting @ 18 mpg. This past weekend driving back to my hometown and back I got about 13.8 mpg.

Luckily, I mostly work from home and only live 5 miles from office when I do go in.

Break in period of drivetrain parts for me has always been letting them heat cycle a few times. Just install it and drive to work everyday, like normal, for a week before doing a big burnout or drifting the back roads. I don't find a need to drain the oil, especially if you are using very high quality oil and yes, use the same 75w-90 Amsoil gear oil you been using. You can run thinner in the winter if you want but I've never gone back and forth between weights with the change of seasons so I wouldn't worry about that.

When you first install it, it's gonna make some new noises that may sound like something is wrong but for the most part, they go away. It will make a loud pop sometimes when engaging or disengaging, you will hear it "ratchet" when turning, you might chirp the inside tire when turning, you will have more driveline slack then factory and will get a clunk noise when accelerating, letting off the gas then accelerating again .... all of these things will either go away completely or reduce a bunch. Getting used to the difference in how it drives isn't significant either. About the only things im always aware of now is to not rev it up and dump the clutch and not go harsh on/off throttle. Imagine doing this in your truck now and the bucking feeling it gives you. Double that aggression with the locker in.

I thought I recalled it being an '08, but yeah, the blue one. Needs new drivers seat also. I live about 1/4 mile from there.
