TRD CAI discontinued?!

When I was picking up my truck from the stealership today after getting my tranny and rear leaf TSBs, I went over to the parts counter and was asking them about the CAI and they looked some stuff up and said that it had been discontinued....


Luckily, they had a brand new one on display and sold it to me for a discounted price (and I don't have to wait for one to be shipped -w00t!).


Anyone else heard this? If it's true, you might want to try to jump on one if you're currently on the fence.

Well that sucks

 

$330 - Their price was over $400 (which makes me wonder why there is so much variation).

Just got done installing mine and putting it thru a shakedown.

Thing is loud and completely badass.

Could happen. They are probably redesigning and upgrading for the new engines coming out with the Tacoma and Runner
