    What's a fair price to have sliders welded on? Haven't asked around yet, but I was thinking a mobile welder might be a better route, pricewise, over a shop.

    I don't think anyone I know has a welder/knows how to weld other than TW people. Or maybe my buddy's older brother. Though he had a shoulder operation recently, so I don't expect him to be lying on the ground welding lol

    I'll have to get some quotes and see how they compare to that price.

    He's doing it for cash. I'd honestly trust the dude w/ my truck and I've only met him twice. He clearly knows what he's doing. Pay him to do it especially since he'll let you watch/ help so you can learn.

    Price will depend on the sliders. And mobile vs welding shop prices will be close. Mobile guy incurs travel time, vehicle expenses, and generator/welder units are not cheap. And most of them are stick welders.
