    Just recently traded in my white 04 TRD DC to a 12 TRD OF DC. Couldn't be happier. I'm going to miss my 1st gen, but ever since the 2012's came out it has always been my dream truck. Thought about a 3rd Gen for a while, but after stalking the 3rd gen forums and seeing the complaints people have been having I decided to stick with my dream truck of the 12-15 styles.

    Coming from a Jeep I'm use to it. I would post it but it's no Taco. With a 6 yr old and one on the way I figured this is more of a family off roader :D

    I hear ya. Got a 2 1/2 and an 11 month old myself. So far It's worked well with the car seats. No complaints from my side. Enjoy the taco!

    Hey guys,

    New to the forum. Picked up an 09 DC. Been a 4Runner owner for 8 years and needed an upgrade. I wanted a Tacoma for a long time and finally pulled the trigger. Plans for this spring are front and rear bumpers with a winch and likely a suspension and tire change. Currently running 33s with a 6" lift but I did not know anything about the suspension until I did a bunch of research online. Sadly it is a RC lift and honestly I'm considering lowering it and going with 265's mainly to save gas and I feel that a narrower tire will do better for me up here in N.E. Wisconsin. The suspension, tires, and rims are all brand new however. I may give the 33s a chance but I plan on putting her through snow, mud, and the deep sands of the Upper Peninsula.

    Well thanks for the welcome. I decided that the money I was going to put into the 4Runner is going into the Tacoma and the 4Runner is going to a new home. I cannot justify having 3 vehicles and the 4Runner would just sit and rust so I would rather it go to someone that will use it.
