    Rock sliders
Question for anyone that might know:

I'm upgrading from an 05 to a 17 Pro (just a little longer wait)...and I have nice pair of rock sliders from the 05 that I'd like to switch to the Pro.
Will they fit correctly? And is the frame on the Pro the same as the current Tacoma?

A lot of stuff, just ask and I'd be happy to tell you. Or we could wheeling/camping

I dunno if the sliders will fit, but I can tell you the frame is different. You may get lucky and the bolt up points may line up though. I'd contact whomever made them for you.

Really? You actually think they will offer the cement again.... That's doubtful!! If I was a betting man I would say they will at least add a new color to replace the cement.....

Bet you they offer it again or offer it on other models, they are into making money it's a popular color and so are pros these aren't collector items it's a Toyota truck.

That was then offered as a primary color on all trims in 16 as well as other models (you can buy an sr5 tundra in inferno today), cement will be back maybe not as a pro but I guarantee it's not a limited color run. Again it's about money and what sells. If anything they'll switch up the colors available on the pro but expect cement to become an color available on other models, this is the pattern Toyota has been taking.

Sure- it's on the Xb and others already- but Toyota also values its loyalists and exclusives. I'm not saying it's dead, I'm saying you probably won't see it on a Tacoma for a while.

I'll take that bet bud, I'm sure inferno guys were saying the same thing in 15. It's about making money not loyalists/exclusives, lmao.

About 5 years short of how long I've owned them and a salesman giving you information...we all know how they don't ever make crap up or know very little about the product they're selling...Toyota salespeople are usually far less educated on these trucks than most here on this forum, love all the threads about v8s, hybrids, etc. that salesman tell people.

I agree with you they will likely offer it on all models in the future - that only makes sense. And I would never call a toyota a collector's item (unless it's a supra). But it sure is hard to find those 2015 Pro's for sale. I did a nationwide search on cars.com and only 2 of the 120 results were actual Pros. Both were priced between $35k and $37k with around 30k miles on them. The rest were SR5s or Sport trims (don't ask me why they were all listed as Pros).

I agree with you... with the Ultimate Edition FJ's you can only get those colors on them for one year. Plus this thread is about who's waiting for a pro.....

I agree likely limited to the pro in 17 but I bet it's offered on the other models next year.

Dude we are not here to create an argument with you. I hate to say it, but these short of topics get you into some kind of debate mode.
I will say this once more!! We all know it's not a collector item!!!! It's 2016/2017, and nothing made in the last 20yrs is a freaking collector item.....30 yrs from now who really knows what is going to be collectable. I am not saying the 15 Pro, or 17 and so on will be, I am just saying of course it's not!! It's too new. Also, my point was to your other post with regards to cement being used on the 18 Pro's. Sure, cement prob will be used on other Toyota vehicles in the future. I am just saying I wouldn't count on it on the 18 Pro and so on.
