What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

HELL Yeah!!! Already did an eBay search, $40 shipped ain't too bad to add two more *useful* cup holders to the multitude of useless ones! I swear everytime I get on this forum I find something new and useful!

 

Lucky me. I grabbed one of those cup dividers from a wrecked Tacoma for $5! Works great!

 

Score! My '09 came with one, and then they eventually stopped using them.

 

No idea why Toyota ever stopped using those, overhead displays, or clocks with the hazard switch. Also why they never put in a power rear window.

 

On another note I did a little bit of work to my Tacoma today! Got several goodies for Christmas that I asked for to go towards my truck, including this Powerstop Z36 Truck and Tow brake upgrade. I just did this to my 02 Tundra and even though this Tacoma only has 24k on it the rotors were already warped from the previous owner, so it was a justified upgrade and free on top of that! I want to paint the calipers but didn't want to fool with pulling them off and having to bleed the system and all that junk so next brake service I will prolly pull them and paint them.

Question: I noticed Toyota added threads to the rotors to help with popping them off, Mine were already rusted on :/ I soaked them in WD-40 and wire brushed the hub then put a thin layer of never-seaze...Does or had anyone else done this?

Near finished with swapping out silver parts for black. Wired in Hilux 4x4 switch as well and changed LEDs in 4x4 switch from Blue to green

 

Is that the factory blue in the hilux switch?

 

bought this a few months ago, love it compared to the rubber inserts!

 

No my iPhone just didn't want to pick up the green to well. It's actually a bit more green than the factory switches. Picture makes it almost look turqouise

 

finally got my TC UCA's installed today they have been sitting in my garage for weeks.

 

Gotcha! Looks good with the factory lighting and what looks like a flyzeye bar!

 

Did some serious off roading on christmas eve. Ended up seeing how good the rig handles in snow!

New on here so first off just wanted to say hey to everyone and hope to get some good ideas from you all. I haven't installed and Christmas goodies yet but I do have a carbon fiber front grill and gear alloy big block 20x9 with nitto terra grapplers coming in the mail and should have pics within the next week or so
