update on BTLM-
Ditched the side emiting LED strip, and went with 3mm individual LED's.
Yes it's gonna suck to solder them all... But worth it IMO.
Took more than I thought. The inside strip had ~60ea
Once the middle and outer are wired up that will be 200+


Will be clearly visible through the factory light diffusers;

You should do the outer most LED strip next and see how it looks with only two.
Might be more of a dramatic look than three strips.

Continue on with the RED Off-road's.....OR... do the LED retro to the PRO's?
(if PRO, I would still Matte black the inside, and Tint the Reflectors)

 

Personally, I like where you are headed with the current project. I say, stay the course! As they currently sit, it just looks so subtle and custom...

 

I say stay the course with Red OR, looks great!

 

Yeah, I kind of like the OEM red tinted tails. Plus it would be hard to hide the cut marks looking through the clear lens of the PRO's.
