Has anyone had any experience with rough country 6" lift kits for the 3rd gen Tacoma?? I would like to know about the kits actual build and ride quality???
I currently have 3" pro Comp lift but it's not high enough and don't want to spend another $4k for a pro Comp 6" or BDS 6" kit! Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Welcome to TW and congrats on the new truck. I'd highly suggest utilizing the search feature. You can narrow it down by subforum, specifically third gen tacomas.

Word on the street is Rough Country rides rough. But opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one.

    Happy searching!

Why are you going with 6"? If mall crawling, I'm sure they are fine.

If you want a 6 incher than go for it man. Just be aware that that 4K kit has another 4K worth of labor and fabrication to make it work. And start buying extra front axles now. You will become a master at swapping them out.

I just sold a Ram with a 6" fab tech so coming form that to a 3" lift MID size truck just isn't high enough. And at this point I don't care about keeping my warranty and 8" is to high to load the back of the truck!!!

Please. Just leave the shafts out! If you are doing a six inch kit you probably don't need those anyway. :hattip:

If you had a 2WD, then I bet @ChadsPride would have recommended the MaxTrac kit. I was looking at the 6" RC kit for my Tacoma, and ended up deciding on the 6.5" MaxTrac
