I'm about 99% sure it's a V, I have the V without the windoors. You can tell it's the V by the lip at the bottom edge.

Of the two cheese graters, the Pro grater is the greater grater IMO

Perhaps but it's less "in your face" than the bright chrome original and pairs a lot better with the OR. They should have used the chrome grill for the limited model.

I'm seeing them available from 395 to almost 500.

Not cheap but still very happy with the result.

True. But the pro sticks out more. So it's in your face. Grating them cheeses.

It lessens the underbite of the bottom bumper so that's less in your face.

Haha nah. I did my grill and I'm way happy with it.

    If I wanted a pro I'd buy a pro!

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
Here's a slightly different option for the grill. I plasti-dipped the whole thing at first, but the "black" mattes up and goes pretty charcoal in color. I wanted a low gloss solution, so I removed it.

I then looked around and determined that while I don't love chrome, there's 1 place on the vehicle I don't think I can easily remove it, and that's my side mirrors, there's a small strip.

I went with this look, masking off the center, to give layers to the Toyota emblem. While this isn't look as good as the Pro grill, I think this is how Toyota should have designed the OR grills. It keeps just enough Chrome to satisfy those chrome guys, and gives us blacked out guys plenty of what we like.

No Tacoma PRO-tending here, grill is the only PRO part... no longbed or quicksand option for the PRO so no interest interest for me.

I considered painting the insert but it just didn't look good, it still looks like a partially painted insert compared to the others. None of the other aftermarket grills looked good to me or fit as well as a factory part. Easy choice and part compliments my truck very well.

Besides, my first two trucks said TOYOTA on the grill, always preferred that to the logo so that's what I wanted on this truck.

Spend your money and mod as you wish....

The "pro" grill wouldn't exist if the ford raptor never existed.
