Are the T/X variants any better for off roading vs the standard TRD Off Road?

For that money, you are looking for something under 2011 with higher mileage. Depending on what part of the country you are in. There is nothing wrong with that. But dont waist your time looking at 13 or 14s for that money. I bought my 11 trd off road DCSB with 50k on it for 21k but I work at Toyota. They had it on the lot for 28k. They market them up crazy and most places don't come down from the price on Tacos. The TRD Pros are marked up 5k over sticker and they don't discount them.

I guess it is time to start texting my cousins husband who is a used car dealer and my old neighbor. See what they can do for me. ;)

I drive a fair amount of highway miles every year as well as put a fair amount of hard miles on the truck driving on Silver Lake sand dunes in Michigan.

The other thing I like is that the 13's have the backup camera feed in the mirror rather than the dash where the sun can make it difficult to see and the 13's still had the clock on the dash before they did away with that.

agreed, I much prefer it in the mirror. When you back up you look in the mirror generally anyway, not at the dashboard. It's not as big, but other than that I like it better

Man, I love the huge screen on my 15! Makes it so much easier to back up to a trailer, I get what you mean about the sun, glare can make it hard to see sometime.

Some DCSB owners wish they had gotten LB. (Just what I read here.)

I bought my '06 TRD Sport DCLB with 58k for $18,000 in January. I wanted to drive a 2016 for giggles, and the dealership offered me $17,900 trade-in on mine last month with 67k. I must say I preferred mine to the 2016...

They are out there for under $20,000!

2005-2006 because no TPMS. Get one that's had the frame replaced and you get the new engine mounts. I just like a little less electronics to break and make life more difficult.
