I wouldn't go with an AutoZone PCV valve, I picked one up and compared to the Toyota version, its shit. Completely plastic, broke in half when installing. Also make sure the grommet you get seats tight.

    FWIW, I'm running 315/75R-16 (nominally 35/12.50) on 16x8x3.5BS SCS F5s.

Granted, that's a taller sidewall, but I've never been a fan of the wide rim vs. section width look; too mall crawler for my blood. But @Fernando's setup looks great on a 10" rim!

These past couple of days I've just been winging it without checking my statements. After spending about $600 at the dealer I just said screw it I'll splurge like a Cali girl.

Is there a negative effect when wheeling though with only a 8" wheel, what is the recommended wheel size for a 12.5?...more chance of breaking the beads etc with a 8" on the trail?

I'm sure it's possible. I do know that 8" was the minimum specified by Cooper for the ST Maxx in my size.

I'm not as qualified or experienced as some of the other members here, so we'll see if they chime in.

8" wheel will be fine, less chance of breaking a bead on a narrow rim, not more.

Is this because the tire is not as 'stretched' ?

Kinda what I figured intuitively, but don't have as much experience to back it up!

    Thanks, Brett!

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
    x2

Stock 7" wide wheels are surprisingly good at holding a bead as well.

When I was running those, I had to do a little talking to get Discount to mount my 295s on such a narrow rim. Lots of offroading in the 10 psi range, and some snow wheeling closer to 6 psi and I never lost a bead.

Keep the wide travel at the mall. :stirthepot:
