Check out home depot, they had adaptor kit to go from about any brand pressure washer to 1/4" quick connect

I use my foam cannon every time I wash my vehicle's except on super hot summer days here in Texas (95F+) The soap flashes and dries too quickly in that heat.

The foam cannon is hands down my favorite detailing tool besides my porter cable 7424xp. Been very happy with CG's snow foam. I got my foam cannon on Amazon for $30 and had it now for over 2 years.

It also carrys away debris as its falling from the car. All around great thing to do to minimize scratching.

Most definitely, the more debris you can blast away without physically touching the car, the less dirt you grind into your paint when you actually use a wash mitt.

Will a pressure washer not remove any wax or sealant on the car?

Pure carnauba maybe, but unlikely. Sealant definitely not.

You will still need a quality mitt. The foam helps with lubricity and reducing swirls.

IMHO (this is how I wash) I would spray down the truck with the pressure washer, use the foam cannon to foam the entire truck, let the soap dwell for a minute or two and then wash the soap off with the pressure washer. Then use a 2 bucket method to hand wash the vehicle.

For my hand wash after snow foam I use ONR (optimum no rinse) and dry each panel after it's been washed.

One bucket for rinsing the mit. One for your car soap.
