I'd recommend either doing a more thorough cleaning of the surface or lighter coats.

Can't tell if there is a bunch of runs or if that's surface contamination, though I think it's likely the latter.

Lots of coats are fine, you just want them thin - not heavy. Let it build up to a thick coat, not spray a thick coat all at once.

When I did mine, I had so much road dust on them that I washed them in the sink with dish soap and hot water. Then I dried it off and let it sit in the sun to remove any residual moisture on the surface. Before I derp'd them I wiped them down with rubbing alcohol and (again) let it sit in the sun a little bit to make sure it had completely evaporated and I was going to be trapping anything underneath the derp.

    The finish came out perfect.

It's super easy, you just don't want dirt or oils/grease on it before you paint it, including the oil from your skin from touching it with your fingers. Then, thin coats - as many as you want.

If you went through the effort of removing them, why not just paint the emblems with spray paint? Much better color selection, nicer finish and stronger. Only reason I see to plastic dip emblems is so you don't have to remove them from the truck.

    Because I had derp.

This was when I bit into the "plastidip is awesome" TW bandwagon. I fucking hate it.

idk if you used the glossifier over that but if it starts to look dingy, and it will, rub it with some mothers cleaner wax and it'll clean it rt up. wipe off as much wax as you can and then spray it with a detail spray and the rest will wipe rt off.

 I believe that statement is a bannable offense on TW, so be careful.

I dipped all the logos on my old truck. I was reasonably happy with it. On the Taco, they were all removed, chrome stripped, painted, and clear coated. They look so much better!!

Didn't derp, went with a more permanent solution.

Still, planning on doing the lower valence for shits and giggles sooner or later.
