Doesn't the engine have a knock sensor? There are enough posts about inproved performance with indreased octane that seem to indicate a benefit form advanced timing (though I haven't tried it myself.)

For some definition of really easy. If the fuel pump and injectors are sized for design horsepower, you might need larger (or additional) injectors and a bigger fuel pump as well as a bigger MAF.

Anyway, that's a pretty impressive accomplishment. Even more, I'm surprised by the fuel mileage around town. I thought that SCs took a heavy toll on fuel mileage because they were always pumping (unlike a turbo that is more responsive to load.)

    Good job!

There is a knock sensor, but that doesnt mean anything really. I've heard a few trucks now that ping for no reason it seems.

The sc's do not hurt the mileage at all. There is a small bypass valve on the back. When you aren't under load(aka racing) it lets off the pressure built up by the blower. Nifty little invention, unfortunately you cant hear it like you can on turbo bov's.

Thats the truth. I never rode in one before outside of mine but after the blower install it made the factory powered taco seem like a slug.

Lol! I can take comfort knowing I will never hit those times with 35's. But a SC would be a huge help in the accel department. AAAhhh, gotta leave!!

ehh the pos dayco belt on my blower started cracking and chunking off.....all with only 12k miles on the blower. I went and picked up a gates belt ( supposadly the ish ) I dont know if it was the extreme hot and cold cycles it went through the winter so far or if its just a pos but i'm really suprised toyota would throw in such a crappy rubber band on their blower kits.

In his case, his fast 0-60 is very dependent on his ability to launch in 4wd.

The TRD S/C makes enough low-end torque that most 2wd applications can spin for days if you don't have any throttle control. GOBS of power i'm telling you!! lol.

I'm running a gates belt for my main belt and the S/C belt. I can't complain at all. Well worth the money IMO.
