$28,500, and seems good for what I have been finding in the local area for 2013-2015 4x4 Tacomas, just looking for something not black and 4x4 preferably TRD OR package

Previously had a Tacoma and Tundra then went to dark side with Jeep now looking to go back, trying to stay under the $30k mark

Have you checked the for sale threads here yet? Lot of good trucks if you plan to do aftermarket stuff to them.

How many miles on that truck?

Man 40k on the truck seems high for that price but I could be wrong. Them dealerships really like to jack the price. Maybe someone else could comment on the price .

I think @Large was selling his other truck

    Anyone seen my wallet?
Late 2nd gens seem to be hovering around 23-26k with 4x4 adding a cpl thousand more. I paid a bit for mine with 42k miles but it was 1 owner with a rather detailed carfax, bought, maintained, traded at the same dealer.

They do hold their value really well. I initially looked at used trucks, but decided to buy new for about the same price.

I remember looking at the kbb on my truck with 50k and it was the same as what i paid.

That being said, offer 2-3k less than they are asking. Be firm, make sure they have your contact info, and be prepared to walk away. Remember, now is the time they try to pad their numbers for the year.

Rev it out a little bit. Power is more mid-high range vs 2nd gen 4L which is more down low

Well Patt Lobb dealer sucks dick I won't be going back. I need to find a better dealer. They lost a customer for life. I'll go out of my way to buy a car in the future, we didn't purchase out truck from them, only used their service department, and it's been a nightmare!

Back in July sometime. I had it in once at 1900 miles for the cruise control not acting right, shift flare, and gear hunting. They kept it for four days and told me it was fine. So in July at 4200 miles the a/c blower motor decided to crap out while it was 103* outside and one of your advisors said they couldnt give me a rental because they are all reserved for recall customers.....even though it says rental car on my window sticker. I left a long shitty voicemail to the service manager. They found me a rental, fixed the a/c blower motor and controller, and applied the trans update and topped off the trans...finally. I dont like having to be an asshole to get things done that should have been done in the first place.

Completely agree with this. If someone is nice about things the first time and a company continues to be ignorant I become a full blown dick and make sure things get done correctly. If I have to talk to the owner of the company so be it and it has happened more than once because people have poor customer service skills.

A little bit of good and honest customer service goes a long way in my book. If you can legitimately tell me nothing is wrong and prove it to me then I accept it but I'll be damned if I have to go back to tell someone its happening again.

Honestly I was nice about it until the advisor said 'Let me explain to you how this works". I informed him ive worked in the auto industry since 04 and "know how this works". Then I got kind of pissy. I probably overreacted but I bought a new vehicle so I wouldnt have to worry about things like a/c....in texas.....in july....working lol.

Yea that goes back to my point of being nice until bad customer service comes into play. I would be that same way if someone decided to be arrogant after to me after spending $35k+ on a new vehicle. I'll be your best friend but as soon as you become ignorant and rude I'll be more of an asshole than the one between your cheeks.
