Lift Help!

I have a 2006 Tacoma Prerunner TRD. I am really wanting to do a spindle lift with the Maxtrac 4 inch spindles. I am wondering what all else do I need with this? I was thinking Toytec AAL Mini Leaf Pack in the rear but to get the full 2 inches out of these I need to keep the factory overload. Can someone explain what the factory overload is? Money is key here I am only 17 and a waitress so the more affordable the better! Thanks guys in advance! Different opinions are completely welcome. This is how my truck sits now:

Really wanting to go with cheaper options. If I had $1500 i'd just got with a 6 inch lift.

 

I'm running the maxtrac spindles, couldn't be happier with them. Up front that would be all you need for 4" of lift.

As for the rear of the truck, the "factory overload" is the bottom most leaf.

Wit the toytec mini pack it's 2" of lift (and a better ride) without the factory overload. 2.5" with the overload leaf per toytec

Don't forget longer rear shocks as well

 

What are you wanting to accomplish over all? Stiffening up the rear with the AAL and keeping stock 10 yr old shocks and front springs may be an oversteer accident waiting to happen.

 

Pretty much just want a lift for the looks. And I wasn't going to keep the shocks I am looking into Bilsteins 5100's for the rear.

 

Your preferred budget? Does the budget account for install or will you/someone you know doing the install?

 

Spindles are 400 ish, dakars are 400ish that 4 and 3 in rear for level truck, @ChadsPride post your truck pics up

 

Plus extended 5100s and bam, or 3 inch blocks is the most cost effective lift. But not the best quality option.

 

Prefer keeping everything lift, tires, rims all in all $4,000 at a max. Most likely going to get a group together and install ourselves.

 

What rims and tires doust thy want?

 

Yahn give us the numbers for lift components so we can give more detailed response please. Wheels n tires could eat up 1500 or 3k depending on what youre getting. If we have a solid lift budget we can maybe steer you in a solid direction.

You'll need a -12mm offset on a 9" wheel as the spindles require 4.5" of back spacing for clearance

 

Cab mount chop too possibly

 

I have basically that same set up, well did lol. 17" x 9" / -12mm offset and 285/70-17. @Rigidtacoma will need to trim a lot of the fender well area and a cab mount chop because the low offset, wide wheel, and the spindle pushes the wheel out another .75"

 

So far with all the research ive done I don't think ill have to do any trimming. But its not out of the question if I needed to.

 

Someone explain what all a cab mount chop consist off?

 

Cutting a section of metal out in the cab mount area and welding a new piece of metal in it's place.
