You can probably get 700# Eibach springs to fit his COs? I assume his spring seats are the same as most COs out there.

My issue with ORI is if a seal goes bad on the lower cylinder, you lose your ride height. So basically be riding home on the bumps. At least with standard COs, even if the fluid leaves the shock body, the coil will still hold you up.

I top out pretty hard some times. Was thinking of strapping my front.

But if plans go forward, I will have to strap.

Good plan. I assume ORI need to be 10" for LT because of shorter extended length. Most LT kits use an 8" CO.

I have a very rare weekday off today, sooo I thought I would go to the toyota dealer and get my defective stereo / nav system repaired because it has a mind of it's own. Turning off, turning back on, map system changing the direction arrow. freezing up where none of the controls work. Walk up to the service writer a proceed to tell him what I need after he asked me "can I help you" and then interrupts and asked if I have an appt. for today I said no I do not. As Im saying this he starts shaking his head no and says you need to make an appt. first. I was the only one in the service lane where you leave your truck and one person talking the other service writer and two guys in the waiting room that is the size of a walk-in closet. I think Im just going to get something after market instead of wasting a day off at the dealer. Any recommendations on after market systems?

How hard can it be to design a fuel tank skid plate .

Figure what you want to do drop truck on skid from 5' maybe 10' without any real damage

Do some strength and materials calculations

break out the tape measure and big black crayon
