Yea a long work in progress. It's been that way since September so I could have a winch before a trip to Canada. Just added recovery points. Gonna finish the top and grill hoops in the near future. Might not be as pretty as some of these store bought bumpers but it functions and none of those guys can even come close on price. Once this one is finished and all the bugs are worked out I may make a second "prettier" one.

Anyone on here seen a 2gen white access cab lifted with black fender flares. Seen it leaving the freehold raceway mall.

5100 increments are; 0, .85, 1.75 and 2.50"s. If your truck has taco lean you'll want to add a 1/4" top plate spacer to the drivers' side. .85 should leave you with rake, 1.75 should get you level. Then there's the leave them at 0" and get either OME 883s which give about 1 1/4", or Eibachs which give about 1 1/2"s options. If you're keeping the stock coils and pre loading, the ride will firm up a little.

@diabetik81 just get the 5100 and 885 coils and set it at zero. And you would be good. And the 1/4 spacer for the taco lean

I want function too. But life took a detour and can't wheel the truck right now because of funds. Once I get back on my feet it's a different story. I guess I'll stick with the 884s

I've noticed a lot of folks seem to forget that stock Tacomas aren't total shit offroad. Even my 12 year old, 175K mile worn out stock suspension with 1000 miles of nose dive and negatively arched leaf springs did ok. With how new & low mileage some of your trucks are, the stock parts should do just fine off road and on until life allows for replacement.

Good even guys, just giving every one a heads up, I've got a 97 (maybe 98) 4 runner that's going under the knife tomorrow for a full dismantle. It's a v6 auto 4x4 with 4.10s according to the door tag. Anyone who needs anything from it, let me know. Trans is sold and the front IFS and complete rear are being kept for Rebuilable regear 3rd's. Anyone looking for a d shaft or t case or motor or any body panels, they're all available. CV available also, I'm sure there's something else someone needs. Just shoot me a message on here if you need anything. @Sub-Zero @HolyHandGrenade @Subway4X4 and some others I can't remember have all bought used OEM parts from me and can vouch for our reputation.

3rd gen 4 runner do not work for 2nd gen taco if you're shopping for the taco in your signature. I can definitely help you out with 2nd gen taco 4.10's tho

3rd gen 4Runner shares loads of parts with 1st gen Tacomas. So I would imagine that any 1st gen Taco parts that are compatible with 2nd gens would be parts off of a 3rd gen 4Runner you can use.

I believe the thirds and front ifs are different tho, I will double check tomorrow for you. I have a 4.10 ifs and rear third sitting in the shop that I intended to install into my own truck that can be purchased tho. I'll shoot you a PM tomorrow

I need to figure out what's going on with my job before I can do anything serious. I'm just slowly doing the build in the process. As of today, my truck is my office. Can't afford to risk breaking it. That should be changing soon, but until it does..

Well then there certainly isn't any rush to be getting new parts. Makes the decision easier.

Not a super rush. I've got other stuff coming in the mail soon. But this is my hobby. When I need to unwind I go into the garage and clean, fix, or install something.
