I got the 12in to do my laminate. No problems with it. Just needs some leveling and alignment.

Talking about low quality... this is the second one that fails

HF shopping often involves gut-feeling¹ and often an element of "you pays your money and you takes your chances".

    --------------------------------------
¹ - In my 70+ years I have found that: "If you buy the cheapest there is you stand a good chance of your getting the cheapest there is." This is not always true, however it is true often enough that one needs to always keep it in mind...

There isnt any risk though. They take returns if the tool falls apart day 1.

HF tools are cheap enough that if they make it through their first project, they have paid for themselves.

Made this cool dual tire air inflator/ equalizer. Not sure if this is the right thread, but it a tool

All parts are from Harbor Freight, and it allows you to fill up two tires, and equalize pressure, or piggy back off your buddies onboard air

I used their 1/4" air hose and cut it into pieces, One that is 9' and one that is 4'. Fordfascist has nicer schrader fittings, that I'm going to try and source, they screw to the valves stems and are smaller than the tire chucks that I'm using.

When you shut the valve it gives you the actual tire pressure. It has two fittings so you can fill one or two tires at a time.

Does anyone have any experience with their welders? I'm looking into getting a good ac/dc stick welder to build my own bumpers & rack.
Never owned my own welder before. So I'm a bit new in that arena.

I have a lincoln AC 225 arc welder that i got off CL for $100. My other welder is a HF flux core wire feed. It works well

The cheapest you'll find those tv mounts. I got a 70'', 55"" and 42'' mounted with those. Highly recommended

For sticking two pieces of metal together they do ok.

For welding they are pretty meh.

I honestly would say save up and get something better but at the same time if you want to go in on the cheap and stick two pieces of metal together the HF stuff works for tht

I'm just getting into welding. But I'm a quick learner and plan on building my own front and rear bumpers and a rack. So I want to do it right.

A HF unit will do that ok. If you want to really have good features and a good machine i would go for a hobart 140 or similar over a HF unit personally.

Honestly, don't skimp on a welder. They are worth saving for. Hobart for me would be the low end. I've heard good things about the Eastwood, not sure who makes them.

Miller all the way for me, I'd save your pennies and get their new 211 (~$1,100, pretty sweet unit for home fab work.

A coworker went through two HF mig welders, and then returned. The first one went 9" and something internal popped.
