Going to mount new tires - size will be 265/75/16
Kinda up in the air with tires. Looking for a light weight tire. Doesn't need to be aggressive since this is my daily driver, plus have my jeep for a dedicated wheeler. Thinking some michelin defenders. My father always ran michelins on his Cherokee, good mileage and decent all
    around traction. Evan in snow.

Those wheels will look good. A KO2, Duratrac, or Goodyear Wrangler Authority would pair nicely with them.

I have a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3`s on my truck, 40,000+ and
I still have a shit load of tread left! Not the most aggressive tread but he lifespan is insane!

What are you wanting to do? Lower or raise the circlip? Your truck still at 4th notch?

Thanks Funk, I read back in the thread and saw where you previously commented.

I got the 6112's on, forth notch. My initial impressions are that I have a lot more lift than I want, have not measured yet. I saw where you were thinking of moving the circlip while coilovers on truck.

I'm thinking of trying the third notch. I can't wait for settlement.

I'm gonna look into that. I think it's possible to do if extreme caution is exercised and the right tools. :)

    What I am thinking too.
They will settle, but not by a lot.
Looking forward to hearing what you think about them.

Yea I started on the 4th and right away it was more than I wanted. Especially with my otherwise stock front susp. On the 3rd its still holding around 2" and that's right about where I want it. It rides great at that setting without topping out or bouncing. My net lift in the back is only about 1" so its perfect for now. I bet you have more in the back though?

Hi Curt, yeah I saw your comments, reread this thread last night. I thinking it's too high for me at 4th notch.

The rear is still higher, will measure later today

I snugged the cams down, and gave the truck to alignment shop. Going to see what they can do with it.

So is the 4th notch that high? It seems to me that the 4th notch gives about the same height as an OME 885 lift (which a lot of people run and like)......you guys can't keep doing this, it's making me second guess the 4th notch when I get my 6112's installed.

There are times that I am fine with it and times that I wished it was on the 3rd. I think this spring I may set it at the 3rd. I would prefer having some rake than being nose high.

It's definitely higher than my 885 / 5100 combo. [to be fair, I beat the crap out of my 885 / 5100 for over a year, so maybe some coil sag?]

After alignment, My truck's VSC computer was pissed. It's asking me to reset and calibrate the system.

It might settle some, but my rig is not DD, and I'm not gonna wait.

Going to drop it one or two circlip notches today. My truck needs rake.

I'll measure pre post and share back

Take pics before and after. IIRC it dropped about 1/2 an inch moving to 4 to 3. Also the ride improved and my truck was happier. Do you have a small spacer in drivers side?

Will do. No spacers, straight 6112.

Very helpful to know that. Thanks.

It's been a while since I checked for Taco lean. I'm sure it's still there. I pay it no attention. within reason, I do try and load heavier on the pass side to make up for it. :)

The way I see it (I've owned lifted F150's a Silverado and a 1st gen). The suspension has a relatively small range to work with. Unless you go LT or SAS. So if you lift it too high your running at only the top end of range and so basically the ride suffers and it will top out which absolutely sucks. The same for ricers who slam their cars down low. Have you seen them pogoing down the road. That cracks me up and is unsafe. Just sayin.
