    No, this is my first time swapping out the suspension on a truck. I've called around to a few shops and each time I mentioned going with the LT setup, each have mentioned the need to go with an aftermarket UCA. They never informed me that I would need to swap my oem LCA

    That would be midtravel with stock length uniball uppers... Long travel is longer Upper and lower control arms with longer steering and longer axles.

    If you've never done this before you should stop right now and toss the idea of long travel out the window. Get some dirt time under your belt before you start talking about completely rebuilding suspension geometry.

    A LT setup is just that == Longer Travel. In order for everything to line up, both the upper and lowers are replaced with aftermarket components that are +2, or +3.5 ( depending on kit) to achieve long travel. All LT setups are sold as matched kits and come complete with everything you will need minus the Coilovers / shocks and extended axles.
