NE area wheeling trip plans

I heard we're getting a Nor-easter this Thursday, that would be fun... I can't take anymore time off of work and I just pressure washed the underside of the truck to get ready for storing her so I'm out. Have fun though! Don't go too fast through the puddles - wouldn't want to rut the fuck out of the place.... Also watch the ice buildup on your LCA's if its freezing out. I had a mountain of ice built up on the LCA that was rubbing into the CV boot that I had to chip off on the last ENH run.

 

i'm off thursday and friday could probly go for some time one of those days

 

Whats the RI spot? I may be free to go Friday and Saturday. How far from Maryland?

My lady is working Saturday so that would be a good day for me.

 

So Im guessing we are leaning towards Saturday? I wanted to let my Wrangler buddies know, but don't want to be jumping the gun. Jason mentioned a nor Eastern? If that's the case Im not sure it will be very for my truck in the snow not seeing what Im driving over since I have no lift. With my luck ill hit a rock the right way and destroy something important underneath haha

I only see rain and a high of 39 for Thursday.

 

I'd love to go if I could get some time off work when people tend to go. I'm off today and tomorrow so I could possibly go. Would just be riding solo though and a first time taking the truck out

tomorrow is supposed to be pretty nasty with rain and/or snow.

I hadn't heard a resounding yes for any day in particular, so I've just been in limbo tbh.

I'm still excited to go out but I don't think tomorrow is our best bet regarding weather.

 

yeah i hear ya, maybe friday then. weekend really doesnt work for me this time around. just to get out got a few hours nothing crazy. i'm only 30 min from the ri spot so can go there when ever and have gone a couple times by myself wanna go out with some others

 

I am thinking of putting together a central NH deep snow run sometime in early Feb. Just getting a feel for those who might be interested. It will be all stocker roads, but a lot of tugging, winching and maxtrax-ing due to snow. If you are interested let me know.

 

Im good for friday as well if we want to set that date.

 

Also have my drone to take some sweet pictures and video if we go

Cool, what kind is it?

 

Its called a promark. $150 at walmart and it really isnt that bad. Unable to fly it in the house because the air it displaces puts it off balance and makes it like a wind storm. Brought it outside just to get the hang of it but then i hit a power line so i put it on the charger in hopes of going out again but then I lost attention to it and installed my CB radio instead.
