Don't think I would solo Metberry this time of year, extremely long walk out where it gets steep.

Edit: Matter of fact if your new to off-roading I would buddy up for sure on any trail.

    Never enough
A question to those that have been to rock therapy in the past: what are the absolute must-haves and/or luxury items/mods one should have in order to get the most out of the experience? I have never been to one before and definitely want to go this coming year. I'd like to draw from y'alls past experiences to know what I should prioritize in the next 10 months. I realize rock therapy can be done on even the most stock/bare bones setup and that this is a somewhat openended question, so please keep the flaming to a minimum please.

Are the bugs just for the particular venue? I was in Moab that same time last year, slept on top of the truck and had zero issues. And have never had a bug problem anytime of the year.

Sunscreen on the other hand... Bring gallons.

Could be. The camp is a couple miles outside of town in the brush, and the bugs are called no-see-ums for a reason. I never saw one but I did have to deal with their bites for a week or so afterwards. They might not be as bad in October, but I would still bring the spray as a precaution.

Horrible picture... but my GF pointed out that it got really creepy with me trying to sneak a pic of him. So I stopped.
