It is heavy. Viair sells leaders in various lengths with check valves. That's what used.[/QUOTE]

Suposedly, with a tank you need a check valve.

I have treds. They actually work very very well the problem that day was I was only using 2 and because of my stubborn Dutch ways I had buried myself beyond there help. If you stop at the first thought of being stuck they work flawlessly and they also make winching recoveries a lot easier. They also were the saving grace on our Canada trip. Very glad to have treds and recommend them to anyone. Just like anything else they have there limitations to stubbornness :anonymous:

I thought the twin compressor has a built in check valve. I am putting one inline anyway.

So if im not going to have a tank at the moment, do I really need a check valve on the leader hose?

@Mobtown Offroad - you might be able to save a few therms if you throw on some fiberglass batts between those studs.

Don't want you to freeze your ass before finishing my skids.

I was going to by my landlord said it's a waste of time. The building has a new, 1" thick white rubber roof. I was up in the ceiling running Power to the lift and surprisingly enough it was the same temp up there as on the ground with no noticeable drafts.

Gotcha. So you will have two outlets. One under hood and one in rear
